Congregation Kol Ami is an independent synagogue that embraces all styles of Jewish practice. Kosher food is available in local supermarkets, and Lipman's Kosher Market can make deliveries of kosher meat. There are three kosher bakeries in Elmira.
The Jewish Center & Federation conducts the annual UJA campaign and offers cultural and educational programming for the Jewish community and the public.
