Donate to the United Jewish Appeal Campaign

The past year has been filled with so many emotions for the Jewish community. There’s been plenty of conflict and fear about what might happen next, as we all just search for a moment of solitude in this tumultuous environment. Isn’t a peaceful and vibrant existence all we want for Israel and our fellow Jews, our fellow people, both around the world and in our own communities?

Each year, with the help of your generous donation to the UJA campaign, we have the chance to bring these moments of peace and hope to our brethren around the world, nationally, and locally, as strife, natural disasters, and poverty, continue to plague communities across the globe and families struggle to make ends meet.

For example, last year, the UJA campaign was able to donate to such worthy causes, as three major hospital systems in Israel, tasked with caring for those injured in the attacks of Oct. 7 and those in the subsequent military operations. We also continued donating to groups helping with relief in the Ukraine and during natural disasters in the United States, providing relief and some moments of calmness amidst the chaos. Locally, we provided funding for food banks and libraries, providing basic amenities and brief moments of peace for those who need a little extra help.

All of this would be impossible without you and your kindness. One hundred percent of your donations go directly to these very worthy causes.

Please join me and the board in hoping for a peaceful and spirited world with whatever you can give.

Causes we have donated to in recent years: Soroka Medical Center; Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society; Hadassah Crisis Fund; Women Wage Peace; The Anti-Defamation League; Southern Poverty Law Center; Food Bank of the Southern Tier; Meals on Wheels of Chemung County; and more!
